2026 WA Tri-County Scholarship
- Applicant must be a graduate (or will graduate in 2026) of an accredited high school and will be attending college in the fall of 2026.
- Applicant must have a cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.7 on a 4.0 scale or are currently in college and have a grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicant must be affiliated with a fire protection district that is a member of the Southeastern Washington Fire Commissioners Association. Affiliation includes all active members of any Fire District or their immediate family (spouse or children).
- Applicant must accept the scholarship by signing Southeastern Washington Fire Commissioners Association Award Letter and agree to the terms.
The amount of the scholarship award is $750.00. It will be sent to the selected college or university of the recipient upon verified enrollment of full-time status.
Important dates to remember:
- May 7 - Scholarship applications distributed to Fire Districts.
- June 30 - Completed packet must be postmarked by this date.
- July 28 - Notification to all applicants will be e-mailed advising of award or denial of award.
- September 2026 - Payment will be made to the recipient’s college or university (on or after this date).
